For this new edition, Jean-Pol Schroeder continues his portraits of jazz musicians who have marked their era. A new feature this season is that he will be accompanied by Jacques Onan. The two specialists will take it in turns to give the lessons.
When you attend one of our Jazz History lectures, you'll hear some colourful anecdotes about world-famous musicians, as well as (re)discovering and understanding the careers of past and present artists. It's a chance to benefit from the rich explanations of our lecturers, as well as their archives and other video extracts, some of which are extremely rare!
The River Jazz Festival course will focus on American saxophonist David Murray, and will be given by Jacques Onan.
