If there's one date you won't want to miss during the Festival, it's River Jazz Night: a unique evening during which a carefully selected musician presents three different projects in the same evening, in each of the Festival's partner venues. Only an artist with a wide range of musical skills can afford to take on this role.
Anne Niepold is a diatonic accordionist. Above all, she is a musician. She is passionate about her music, with no stylistic boundaries, making her art accessible to everyone. Writing compositions and arrangements is an integral part of her work. Anne's career as an artist is made up of encounters and mixes, nourished by different currents and influences, giving her a plural universe and a quirky, singular approach to the instrument. Anne is capable of crossing eras, bringing styles together and breaking down barriers between aesthetics and repertoires. She pushes the limits of her instrument ever further.
Anne Niepold will be inviting pianist Florejan Verschueren to the Jazz Station stage at 18:00.

She will then join her accordionist sidekick, Andy Cutting, on the Senghor stage at 19:30.

Finally, the talented musician will bring this incredible evening to a close at the Bar du Marni at 21:00, where she'll be bringing us her own personal universe, a joyful blend of musette and swing!
