Both renowned instrumentalists, Jeff Denson and Romain Pilon met 20 years ago at Berklee College Of Music. At the time, they were jamming together, sharing a taste for adventure and a love of jazz without preconceived ideas. Since then, they've gone on to enjoy brilliant careers on opposite sides of the Atlantic, recording numerous albums with some of the world's greatest jazz musicians: Lee Konitz, Joe Lovano, Ben Wendel, Mike Stern, Jeff Ballard, Brian Blade... After a remarkable first album written together and some thirty concerts in the USA, they're back to present their new opus, 'Finding Light'. The trio is completed on drums by the fantastic Fred Pasqua. A native of Marseilles and a true stylistic jack-of-all-trades, he has played alongside Nelson Veras, Walter Smith, Logan Richardson and others. The trio's music is interactive and generous, reflecting the pleasure these musicians derive from playing together. You'll find influences ranging from Led Zeppelin and Wayne Shorter to Miles Davis, Hendrix and Satie... An evening not to be missed!
