If there's one date you don't want to miss during the festival, it's this one: River Jazz Night is a unique evening, a triple carte blanche on three stages on the same night. What a challenge of creativity and endurance! With his trumpet slung over his shoulder, Jean-Paul Estiévenart is seizing this rare opportunity to showcase original performances, steeped in his world and his musical collaborations. For the first time in 10 years, the spring light will accompany us for part of the night, in a brilliant and warm evening. Because to follow an artist on this evening is to apprehend him from different angles, to meet him at the very heart of his approach.
Here's what you can expect at these three exceptional concerts:
Jean-Paul Estiévenart invites the Dutch Quartet to the Jazz Station stage at 18:00.
He will then give an intimate duo concert with Portuguese accordionist Joao Barradas on the Senghor stage at 19:30.
To round things off in style, Estiévenart and his musician friends revive the golden age of swing in a tribute to the great masters of this timeless music. At the Marni BAR at 21:00.
