This 18-year-old Belgian guitarist started playing at the age of 6. Initially immersed in the world of rock music, he quickly developed a passion for jazz and trained with Peter Hertmans and Bert Cools. When he was just 16, he had the great good fortune to jam with Wynton Marsalis during a tour of Belgium. The star then invited him to come and play at Dizzy's Club in New York, for a virtual session. Eliott was subsequently invited to play with the Brussels Jazz Orchestra, at the opening of DjangoFolllies 2022 and on the main stage of BOZAR with his own compositions.
His musical style is enriched by the influences of many musicians such as Pat Metheny, John Scofield, Mike Moreno, Lage Lund, Peter Bernstein, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Jesse Van Ruller, Brad Mehldau, Herbie Hancock, Joshua Redman, Wynton Marsalis ...
In January 2021, Eliott recorded his first album with Olivier Collette (piano), Sam Gerstmans (double bass), Daniel Jonckers (drums) and, for a few tracks, Stéphane Guillaume (tenor sax, soprano sax & flute) and Peter Hertmans (guitar).
